Asia was born on the west side of Chicago and raised in the Village of Maywood. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. Upon graduating, Asia spent five years at Kraft Foods as a Financial Analyst before realizing her passion for youth in the nonprofit industry. She received her Master’s in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University and took the nonprofit sector by storm!
Asia spent five years at Junior Achievement of Chicago as Director of Program Operations and most recently served as the Senior Training Specialist for Chicago Public Schools. Asia is passionate and inspired to be a resource in her community and pave the way for her successors – lifting as she climbs. Through Lumity’s mission, Asia aspires to create a meaningful impact and help develop excellence through student, community, and economic development!
