On Tuesday, April 1, nearly 400 people attended Lumity’s Annual Dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago.
We are thrilled by the enthusiasm our guests displayed for Lumity and the STEM Collaboration. Because of that support, we grossed more than $360,000!
Several of our auction items were the opportunity to go to lunch with well-known CIOs. Other popular items were tickets to a Bulls playoff game, a cocktail party and tour of Howard Tullman’s private art loft, an Arizona getaway complete with airfare, and a private party cruise on Lake Michigan.
Lumity and Accenture partnered up to give $5,000 to Metropolitan Tenants Organization as the Technology Leadership Award winner. The Family Institute at Northwestern University and Triple Threat Mentoring both received $2,500 as runners-up.
Tata Consultancy Services was named this year’s Community Corps Corporate Champion for their involvement in STEM programs and their work with local nonprofits, including Lumity’s NPO.net.
The 2014 Community Corps Volunteers of the Year were 10 Geneca employees for their work with three nonprofit organizations in Chicago.
Thank you for all your support in helping us make Chicago a better place to live and work!
