TechFest 2007: Cracking the Code An annual celebration and fundraiser for Lumity, our clients, and sponsors.
Thank you to all of the Sponsors, donors, volunteers, and friends that supported TechFest 2007: Cracking the Code !
2007’s black tie event returned to the site of Lumity's (formerly the IT Resource Center) first home, the Museum of Science and Industry. The evening included access to many of the exhibits, including the U-505 submarine which was instrumental in the Allies’ cracking of the “Enigma” German communication code in World War II. Cocktails and dinner were served to approximately 500 guests from Chicago’s business and nonprofit communities.
Sponsors included Accenture, Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, CDW, CNA, Conseco, Inc., Forsythe, IBM, Infosys, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP America, and many more.

Accenture presented the Technology Leadership Award, honoring nonprofits that use technology in innovative ways. Entertainment, dancing, and an auction/raffle are part of this very special event. Lawndale Christian Health Center and Northern Illinois Food Bank were finalists; the Hadley School for the Blind was runner up, and the 2007 Technology Leadership Award winner was America's Second Harvest.
